"In previous seasons, this run of injuries would cripple the Bruins, but they still have six players who are plus-20 or better keeping the B's moving in the right direction. Key Injuries: C Patrice Bergeron (concussion), LW Marco Sturm (lower body), D Andrew Ference (leg), LW Milan Lucic (upper body), G Manny Fernandez (undisclosed)."
My Opinion: Thanks to the Bruins incredible depth they have been able to keep up with the pace they have set this season. Players have been dropping like flies for them in the past couple of weeks and for the most part it has gone unnoticed. What I mean by this is that the Bruins incredible depth in Providence has been able to fill in seamlessly so far. From the front all the way to the back, the Bruins are stocked in young players who are just waiting for the opportunity to play for the big club and get the chance that current B's like Wheeler, Krejci, Hunwick and Lucic have received. And the one constant behind all these players is the system. Both Boston and Providence are teaching and using the same gameplan/style making the move from the AHL to NHL and vice versa so easy. In the end, you have to look at the coaching staff as the saviors for a team that has been dogged on in the past few drafts by so called "experts" for their pick-ups.
