GAMEDAY HEADLINES:
- Boston enters tonight's game riding back-to-back wins for only the second time this season. This will be the Bruins only meeting of the season against the Blues, as Boston looks to go 3-0 entering the last game of their four-game road trip, which ends Wednesday in Minnesota.
- The biggest news of the night however is the return of Marc Savard whom has been out of action since breaking his foot back on October 17th. Savard had posted 7-points through seven-games before being inured and was involved in 4 of the B's 10 PP goals this season.
- Brad Marchand rejoined the Providence Bruins over the weekend, along with Trent Whitfield whom first had to clear waivers. This now leaves one "press box-player" spot left on the B's roster which will likely end in a toss up between Sobotka and Paille.
- The two worst overall powerplay units will meet tonight in a battle of mediocrity. Although tonight will be the first game in almost 2-months that we have seen the Bruins first powerplay unit of Savvy, Sturm, Ryder, Chara and Morris together.
- No word on who will be starting in the net for the Bruins but Tuukka Rask has been given the nod in the last three games posting a 2-1-0 record and a 2.27 GAA.
- The Blues have the 3rd most efficient penalty kill in the league (84.9%) while the Bruins are currently ranked 5th overall (84.0%).

- UPDATE (3:30PM): Tuukka Rask will get his fourth consecutive start tonight in net for the Bruins. Rask has posted a 4-1-0 record in his last five-games while maintaining a 1.77 GAA during that time. No word on if Thomas' absence is injury or performance related.
