- Tim Thomas made 27-saves tonight shutting down the Penguins for his 2nd shutout of the season.
- Timmy has allowed only 6-goals in his last 5-starts while only posting a 1-3-1 record.
- Matt Hunwick scored his 4th goal of the season in the first period to give the Bruins a 1-0 lead.
- Dan Paille added to the score netting his first goal of the season and as a Bruin on a breakaway to give the B's a two-goal lead.
