GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
- Bruins lose lead late in the game again but find a way to win in the shootout.
- Boston struck first (twice) via a Marco Sturm and Michael Ryder goal to give the Bruins a 2-goal edge after the first.
- Ryder scored his 2nd goal of the game in the second period on the powerplay (Boston went 1-for-2 with the man advantage on the night).
- Shutdown! Boston stuffed Atlanta's top ranked PP unit on 4 of their 5 chances with the man advantage. Boston is currently ranked 3rd in the league on the penalty kill with a 84.8% efficiency rating.
- Tuukka Rask got the start over Thomas last night and made the best of it making 32-saves on the night, capping off his performance with 3-consecutive saves in the shootout.
- Boston out-shot Atlanta 42-to-35 last night.
- Dennis Wideman (along with Ryder) was the only Bruin to record 2-points in the game, both coming from assists.
