GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
- This was one of the worst all around performances by the Bruins this season. The offense had chance after chance but couldn't tuck the puck away, including SEVEN failed PP attempts. The defense was terrible tripping over themselves as if they had to left feet. And then Thomas. Timmy wasn't all that bad despite his numbers but he did make one huge mistake on the Habs 3rd goal, missing the puck entirely when trying to cover it up. All around disgusting performance from the B's.
- The only positive to last night's game was a Vladimir Sobotka goal to robbed Carey Price of a shutout. Other than that I want to forget last night ever happened.
- Tim Thomas was pulled after allowing 5-goals on 23-shots at the end of the second period. Tuukka took over in the third and stopped all 6 of the shots he faced.
- Boston went 0-for-7 on the powerplay including failing three different times to capitalize in 5-on-3 situations.
- Boston outshot Montreal 38-to-29 but could only get one by Carey Price who was apparently in "beast mode".
- The Habs Mike Cammalleri scored his 13th, 14th and 15th goal of the season to cap off a perfect night with a hat trick.
- Nothing else to say about this game.
- Boston returns to action tonight @ The Garden to take on the Maple Leafs (and Phil Kessel).
